So yesterday before Grandma Sue and Grandpa Scott left to go home we decided to venture to the San Francisco Zoo. The drive was a bit long and it was 60 degrees so a bit cold for Cooper but we had a good time. We walked the whole zoo and saw all the animals, most of which were either sleeping or seemed old and could hardly move. But Linken didn't care he was entertained and loves just being outside and loved being with his grandparents. On the way home we ate at Cheesecake Factory which made the whole trip worth it for me!!

Okay... So I swore I wouldn't ever be one of those moms who dressed my kids a like but I got these outfits when I was pregnant with Cooper and can't believe he fits in his already. So I had to take some pictures of them matching cause who knows how long they will fit Coop. He is growing quickly. This outfit is 4-6 months and he is only a month and a half... Linken had worn his out fit all summer.

This past Sunday we were able to bless Cooper. I am so grateful for Cooper and feel so blessed to have him join our little family. I am so grateful for my husband and all my family who was able to come. We truly are blessed to have so many great friends and family so close. Thanks everyone for coming! My boys are my whole world... I love you Brady, Linken & Cooper!

August Adventures....

The beginning of this month we took a drive up to Calavaras Big Trees. Where there are a ton of old Giant Redwood trees. Linken really enjoyed it cause we were outdoors and he was pretty much able to run free. We walked a two mile trail to see a bunch of these giant trees.

Well baby Cooper Iverson Gurr has arrived. He decided to enter the world a little early... he was born July 1st, 2011 at 8:40 am. He weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.

For those who want the details of his birth continue reading below....

On June 29th I went in for my regular check up... a check up I was really needing cause Brady was leaving the next day to New Jersey for two weeks for work. Everything went well at my checkup and I was given the details. I was dilated to a 2 and 80% effaced. I mentioned my husband was leaving out of town and the Dr. warned me that the baby would not wait another two weeks. So I was somewhat worried but didn't really think he would be here two days later. The day went on and we did our normal errands and enjoyed our night together. Brady of course waited until the last minute to start packing and was leaving for the airport at 4:00 am so we were up late talking while he was packing. So as I laid down to go to bed I started having contractions but they didn't feel that strong so assumed they were just Braxton Hicks which I had when I was pregnant with Linken. Brady and I were betting on when Cooper would be coming Brady thought for sure he would make it back in time and I was sure he was going to miss it. At around 3:00 am both Brady and I couldn't sleep and started talking. Brady was now worried about leaving but still ended up going.

After he left I went back to sleep until about 7:15 am when I woke up having major contractions that were more painful. I for sure thought I was in labor so quickly called Brady and told him not to board. Luckily I caught him 25 minutes before his flight left for New Jersey. So he started figuring out how he was going to get his bag that was already checked and on the plane and how he was getting back home. Meanwhile I called my mom and woke up Linken to head into Labor and delivery. After getting to labor and delivery I found out I was only dilated a half a centimeter more but was 90% effaced. So they sent me home. I continued having contractions all day so once Brady got home we kept them coming by going on a few walks, went riding on the four wheeler at my parents and then at around 7:30 pm we were jumping on the trampoline with Linken. By the time we got home they were stronger and coming every two minutes so I decided to jump in the shower and take my time to make sure this was really it. My worst fear was going into labor in the middle of the night which was now happening

So after showing and doing my hair we loaded sleeping Linken in the car and were off to the hospital again. Brady and Linken stayed in the car sleeping while I checked in. After checking in I was now dilated to 3 cm and 95% effaced so they told me to walk the labor and delivery floor for an hour and they would see if I was progressing. So I was off walking round and round with my cup of ice chips. About 35 minutes into walking my mom showed up to walk and keep me company. After an hour of walking I was 5 cm and was finally in labor. So Brady and Linken came up and I was moved into my delivery room. Things went great and Linken was a trooper. By 5:00 am I had my epidural and was feeling good. Linken and I even took a two hour nap and by the time I woke I was dilated to a 9 and was starting to feel the pressure. Because of the horrible experience with birthing Linken I made sure to click the button for my epidural meds which was amazing and made a huge difference. By 8:20 am I felt ready to push so in came my mid-wife, she came into check me and there was his head. I only had to push for 10 minutes and he was here. I had the most amazing nurses and an awesome Mid-wife!! This birth was 10 time better then the first.

On Sunday we drove down south to meet Brady's family in Disneyland. We had a lot of fun and I really think the boys enjoyed the trip. They don't see each other enough but were best buds while riding rides. I think both Hayden and Linken enjoyed the Bugs Life Land where they rode the spinning ladybugs, and the caterpillar ride at California Adventure. Linken loved all the rides Buzz, and Pirates I think were a few of his other favorites. On pirates he would just keep saying "oh wow". The weather was really nice while we were down there which made it that much more perfect. Disneyland is so much better with a little kid, it was fun seeing his reactions.

Last week we all took a trip to the Fresno Zoo. Juline and Jeff and their kids were in town from Utah for Jarett and Haylie's little boy Deegan's blessing. Juline and the kids stayed a few extra days to play with the cousins and while they were here we ventured to the Zoo.

Well Linken has become quite a fan of 4-wheeling. He loves going fast and riding with anyone. We mostly ride at Papa and Grandma's house but hope to go many more places as he gets bigger and once I stop getting bigger and have this baby!!

Linken was pretty easy to please on Christmas morning. He ran out and saw his recliner Santa brought and the candy in his stocking and was ready to be done for the day. He got very spoiled by all of his grandparents and had so many gifts to open by the end he was a bit overwhelmed and like every kid wanted to open everything up as he opened it. Well I have been very busy to say the least.... and the blogging updates just haven't been able to get done. I will do my best to catch you up on the last 4 months. I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant and have made it through the first half of the pregnancy with our second Baby BOY!! We are due in July and we can't wait for him to join the family. Linken is excited but I don't think realizes the big impact another sibling will have on his little life. But I know he will be a great big brother! Here are a few pictures of the little guy...

Holiday Time....

Here it is almost Christmas and it doesn't even feel like it. This month has gone by really fast with some days in slow motion. Brady has been traveling for work quite a bit lately and this little baby inside me is making me a lot sicker than I was when I was pregnant with Linken. I have been a lot more nausous and tired but I'm almost through my first trimester so hopefully that will all go away soon. I couldn't have suvived with out my dad and the help of my mom and little sis Jalisa. This month has been busy finishing our Christmas shopping and hanging out with family. Haylie and Jarett have moved back home and I am so glad they are back. Well haylie at least for now... Jarett is still traveling for work too. This time of year really makes me love my family and realize how much they mean to me. I am a gumpy, moody pregnant lady most of the time but hopefully my family memebers know how much I love them. I'm missing my big sis and her family but will hopefully get to visit again soon.

Linken has been hilarous and is getting so animated and fun... I can't believe my baby will be turning two in April he is talking so much and is my best bud. Some of his favorite things to do right now is watch Mickey Mouse Club House, play with anyones hair, watch Toy Story or as he calls it "Buzz", and pretend cook.

I have a ton of pictures to post but didn't have my camera at the this time to do so.... so pictures are to come!! Happy Holidays everyone!

Thanksgiving...

Well we were in California this Thanksgiving and got to spend it with my family well those who were still in town. This was the first Thanksgiving with my family that was without my parents. They decided to be losers and take a vacation to Honduras so we enjoy a small Thanksgiving with Justin and Ivie and their four kids, and Jalisa & Kenly and ourselves. Though we were small in number we still had quite the feast. I decided to continue the family tradition and make homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls... this was my first time doing this all by myself without my moms help and boy was it an expience. Jalisa was my assitant and we managed to do it right and even make the cinnamon roll frosting festive thanksgiving colors.

Well once again I am a blog slacker... we have been very very busy and have been all over the place lately. So heres a brief update on whats been going on in our busy lives and what new with us...

Halloween

We spent Halloween in Utah which was a lot of fun. Linken and I were able to fly out to Utah for about a week to hang out with the big sis Juline and her kids all us girls were able to be together even mom and Jalisa and Kenly came out early. We were originally going for Haizly's blessing so decided to go out early for fun. Halloween was a lot of fun minus the rain... we were still able to hit a few houses in the rain but then decided to go to the old folk home to visit Jeff's grandma. It was fun to see the cute old folk passing candy to the kids and the kids loved all the attention and candy. Linken was Rex the dinosaur from Toy Story and seemed to enjoy the trick or treating adventure.

Utah Suprise

While we were in Utah we had a little suprise... on November 4th we found out I am pregnant. I seemed to be a little extra cranky and just felt different so decided to have Brady fly out the pregnancy test I had under the sink cause I was to cheap to go buy another one. So that next day after Brady got to Utah I took the test. This would make baby number two for us which we are very excited about. We are due in July and I can't wait to find out what we are having.

These pictures are the most recent. This was last night when Linken was helping daddy pack for his scout camp out. He wanted to try it on.... As you can see he now figured out to smile when mommy says CHEESE!!

This other picture shows his other top tooth!! He now has 4 Teeth! Well Linken is almost 18 months old now and is busy, busy, busy! He is getting so big and lately seems more like a little man to me than a little boy just by his big personality. He is trying to talk so much now and can say a lot of words: Oey= our dog Zoey, mom, dad, I want that, mine, car, ball, straw, bowl, cracker, papa, gama= grandma, eesa= my sister Jalisa, cat, goat, bottle, drink, bubble, water, bath, moomie- movie, bye-bye, thank you, nigh night, no, outside, flower, bug and more. He is trying to put together sentences which is hilarious. He also has started to do the signs he has learned from his Baby Signing Time movies. He can sign; more, play, eat, drink, bird, dog, friend, please, and stop. I'm amazed at how quick he is picking things up. The other day we were in the backyard playing and I yelled for Brady and then all of the sudden Linken goes to the door and starts yelling "Brady" it was pretty cute. He is trying to be so independent too... he loves climbing up on everthing by himself, he loves taking daddy's tools and trying to fix stuff and loves feeding himself. At the beginning of this month we also got him his own big boy bed and he has been sleeping in it pretty well (more like we) because he only sleeps 3-4 hours at a time so when he wakes up in the middle of the night I usually am so tired I stay and sleep with him. But I do must say he is getting better and better at sleeping by himself. Linken is such a blessing in my life and I love him him more and more each day and I'm so grateful to have him. He is growing up so fast but only seems to be getting more cute... Here's Linken with a screwdriver in hand helping daddy put together his new bed. As you can see in the picture above he is EXCITED!! This last picture makes me sad... as you can see he has a hurt foot. Well the other day I was warming up lunch ( his favorite leftover noodles) and they split coming out of the microwave and some cheese landed on his foot and burned him. He had two little blisters and thanks to all of his daddy's leftover burn wraps and ointments from his work accident back in 2007 we were able to wrap it up and get them healed in no time!! So packing around a bin of burn supplies for the last 3 years actually came in handy!!

Good Ol' Farm Life...

Well since my mom and dad are living on out on the 10 acres the weekends have gotten busy with the farm life. It's not really a farm but there are 2 goats left of the 7, two baby horses (Twix & Nilla), two big horses (Boomer & Snickers), 1 cat, and 3 dogs when all of us are out there. Linken loves it out there and enjoys playing in the dirt and riding his cousins four wheeler. A couple weekends ago we also had my Uncle Ryan and the kids out there. It was fun to watch the kids run around.

So in this picture Linken is 16 months old and this is the first picture I finally got of his tooth. He actually has two bottom teeth but you can never see them. So I was glad to get this picture of what we call his " hillbilly tooth" This is Link loving the dirt at grammy and grandpas house. This boy would live outside if he could... and yes he is in a swim suit and barefooted. We were helping papa set up his new pool which you can kindof see in the background.

Juline this is for you since you aren't here to watch dad be dad!! This is dad in his awesome outfit after setting up the pool cutting limbs off the front trees. Brady and dad wanted to do some minor tree trimming and they ended up trimming both big trees for about three hours. We were trimming trees until about 11:00 pm. DAD we love you!!

Okay so these pictures are definatly random and I'm a big fan of pictures of myself but the story is quite funny. Linken has figured out recently that when mommy has the camera to run or not look when she asks. So a couple weeks ago I went to take some pictures of him and thats is exactly what he did. So I decided to take one with him and show him the display. So in the first picture hes looking at the camera and in the second he's trying to look at me to see if I'm looking at the camera.

August came and went....

Well August seriously felt like it flew by.... On August 4th Brady and I celebrated our 4 year annivsery, we went and saw Eclipse which was AWESOME!! That next day we flew to Utah for Brady's cousin Nick's wedding that weekend. Oh course our trip was only a short weekend trip but was full of fun...

Linken was a trooper on the plane. As soon as we borded the plane he was asleep and woke up right when we landed in Utah... Good thing its a short flight from Cali to Utah! Here he is already asleep.

Once we landed in Utah we drove out to Mona to stay with Brady's mom, Granda Sue and Grandpa Scott. Linken was well entertained Scott had a cute little kitten and dog to play with. He even had a rooster that was pretty entertaining to watch the cat and dog try to chase. Linken and Brady also rode the 4 wheeler as you can see in the picture below Linken was ready to keep doing once daddy got off. Then Saturday was the BIG day... Nick and Kelly's wedding. Linken of course was to shy to let me go in for the ceremony so we waited outside the temple watch with Hayden and watched the BMX bikers across the street, and had pine cone tossing contests. The weather was crazy and got windy and rainy pretty fast which you will see in the pictures as well. Congrats Nick and Kelly!! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!!

Fathers Day Pics

So for Fathers Day I had the idea of getting some pictures taken of me and Linken for Brady so I made an appointment for the place in the mall. Well of course everthing went wrong that morning and we were 15 minutes late well they had me wait over two hours and by the time they could get us in Linken was ready for a nap and we got one pitcure taken before he was screaming. So Jalisa and I did our best to take some ourselves and as you can see we are no pro's... In this first and only picture of me and Link he is trying to run away... He's figured out that when the camera is out to look away no matter what I do to get his attention.

The other day I was picking up the house when all of the sudden Linken was silent and no where to be found... I went looking in all the rooms and this is how I found him... Playing on his Harley!! The first weekend in May we went out to Langworth to ride the horses. Here's mom and Linken on Simon and Justin and Taylor on Boomer. Linken loves to ride he was patting the horse and clapping the whole time.

Grammy's Goats...

Alright so my dad suprised my mom with 7 baby goats. They are the cutest little things. They are like dogs they follow you everywhere. Right now they have to be bottle fed so the grandkids are loving helping grammy and papa take care of the goats.

Here's a couple videos of the feedings and another video of them skipping around. Watch closely cause they jump in mid air and kick and almost flip... it's hilarious!!

On April 23rd Linken turned ONE! We had a small party family and close friends. I still can't believe my baby is one. The day of his birthday he started walking everywhere. Enjoy the party pictures.

The Krum Family Reunion

Busy, Busy weekend... We were in St. George for the Krum family reunion on the 17th of this month. It was a lot of fun. We were able to also celebrate Linken and my niece Adilyn's birthday a week early while we were all together. It was great seeing all our cousins. At the reunion we got to play a lot of "Minute to Win it" games and if any of you have seen the show you know what I am talking about. My family loves games and we are all very competetive but had a blast if only it was for money!! It was a short bust weekend but we had a lot of fun.

While we were all there we decided to throw Linken and Adilyn a birthday party at Pirate Island. Linken loved being around all his cousins and family. He didn't love how dark it was but loved being in the arcade. We won over 600 tickets!

Well it was really hot so we descided to strip the kids down to play in the kiddie pool. I can't believe Linken liked it because it was hose water so FREEZING cold but once he got used to it he loved it and didn't want out. Man diapers sure soak up the water....

Happy Easter!! Linken was pretty funny about this holiday. A couple days earlier he opened his Easter package from Grandma Sue and figured out how to open the plastic eggs on the first attempt. He now tries to open everything like the egg and gets quite frustrated when it doesn't open. Yeah! Elmo eggs!

So I stayed up late the night before baking homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls.

We decided to make them festive and died the frosting pink and purple.

Alright so we had Easter dinner with my family at Justin and Ivie's and we hid eggs inside the house for all the little ones. So they all got their buckets and went on the hunt for eggs Linken found an egg all by himself and sat right down to open it. He got distracted with one egg... Here he is tryng to open it. PULL!!

Linken is now 9 months old and is so fun. He officially crawls on his hands and knees instead of his army crawl and gets around pretty fast. He pulls himself up on whatever he can . He

figured out how to open drawers and loves pulling the ziplock bags out of the drawer and throwing the on them floor. He also tries to play fetch with Zoey and can throw a short distance.

He is quite the chatter box and loves making noises and even has a fake laugh.

His laugh never gets old and his smiles make you melt...

As you will notice in the first two pics below his mohawk is getting really long

and I have actually noticed he has curly hair so we are trying a couple different hair do's!

Even with a hurt eye he is the cutest and happiest baby. I am so grateful for him and

enjoying being a mom more and more everyday with every new adventure I get to

have with my little guy.

Well the week before Christmas we took a road trip to Utah for an early Christmas celebration with Brady's side of the family and be there for Kristen's college graduation. We got to see all the family including Juline, Jeff, Adi and Kohen. We all got amazing gifts and Linken was spoiled like always.

Well this was an awesome first Christmas for Linken. I do have to say that children make Christmas a whole lot more fun. Even though he was so young he still enjoyed opening presents and loved his new toys that "Santa" brought. We spent Christmas morning home and then we over to my mom and dads to do Christmas with them and Jalisa and Andrew. I love the holidays!! This first picture is the sweet outfit my dad wore to church the Sunday before Christmas along with Grandma and Linken of course. He was definitly showing Christmas spirit....

These were Linken's Christmas presents. Santa brought him two new DVD's (The Jungle Book & Fern Gully) Along with his stand up activity toy that plays music, play keys, and of course clothes.

Big Trees & Cavern Adventures...

So Thanksgiving weekend we decide to load up and venture to Calaveras Big Trees. We have been talking about doing this for a long time and finally did.... After a 1 hour and 45 minute drive we arrived at the park to find out the winds were to bad and we couldn't go into the park. We were all so bummed so decided to at least get out a take a picture. We loaded back up and ventured onto the cavern's that weren't to far away. It was a fun weekend. We brought Justin and Ivie's three little ones and it was fun seeing them on our adventure. I can't wait until Linken is old enough to really enjoy it. Here are some pictures of the BIG TREES... cavern pics to come!

So these pictures are pretty hilarious... Here is Linken just 3 days shy of 6 months old and he has officially out grown his bouncer... He grabs onto the toys and pulls himself up to his feet until he is standing up.... He is growing up way to fast.

Alright so here is Linken in his new ride... He has moved up from his jumper to this sweet red ride. He still loves his jumper but would get a little to excited when hanging on the closet doorways and would hit his head until he cried not knowing what was happening. After him getting a good bruise on his little forehead I decided we needing to get him something else so I went looking..... And this is what I found by the looks of it I knew he must have it and really got it for my dad in which he was so impressed. At first he only knew how to go backwards but now he can walk all over forwards and backwards... its steering wheel lights up and plays really cute music, along with a horn that actually honks, and the hood also pops off and can be used as a tray... I'm so impressed with the toys and gagets that have for little ones.

Well it seems every post lately is a big update on whats going on in our life.... I really hope to get posting more when stuff actually happens instead if a big update but until then here a long mix of what we have been busy doing.

We finally finished our patio cover.... Brady built this all himself with help from my dad and Jose. With Linkwn loving the outdoors we are really glad we did it. We are still working on the rest of the yard though, Brady and my dad put in all the spinklers last weekend so now all we need is grass. So close!!! I can't wait for the mess to be over with. Here's my dad on the trencher in which terrified our little dog Zoey for days.... Also Linken enjoying the patio furniture.

UPDATE:

Well the summer is offically over and I am ready for Fall and the holidays... this is one of my favorite time of year. Just a little update on our life. Linken is now five months old and is growing so fast he is now trying to crawl and has almost got it figured out besides the fact he doesn't move his arms so they get trapped under his little body. At his 4 month check up he weighed in at 15.8 lbs and 27 inches long. His new thing this week is screaming and sqealing at the top of his lungs, its his way of talking. He is laughing like crazy and loves playing peek-a-boo. He really is the happiest baby and I love him to death.

On September 5th Jalisa and Andrew got married and the family was all together again. Jalisa looked amazing and the wedding was beautiful. All the Krum kids are married now so here come the grand babies.... With the new home Brady has been working on projects non-stop from wiring his surround sound speakers, to working in the yard and has also been busy the last month building our back covered patio which is now complete. Pictures will be coming soon. I just wanted to give an update on our life.

On Saturday August 1st we went and got some new family pictures along with some of just me and Brady since our 3rd year anniversary was coming up three days later. Well for the 4th of July we got to spend the weekend on the house boat with my whole family. Linken enjoyed the boat and being outside. Sadly enough we forgot until late Saturday night that we didn't see fireworks.... It was Linken's first 4th of July and he didn't even get to see fireworks. We are kind of lame parents.... oops! We will be better with with the other hoidays hopefully.

I am so sad to even have to blog this tragic story of our monkeys.... But heres the story.... While we were on our honeymoon in Cancun almost 3 years ago we found these amazing monkeys.... See No, Hear No, and Speak No. These monkeys were packed back in our suitcases all the way from Cancun to New Jersey... When we made it home off the plan one had some minor damage through the tossing of the suit case one of the monkeys butts was broken. Brady and I spent a couple hours super glueing back together and it was as good as new when we were done. Well these monkeys have since traveled across country with us from New Jersey to California. When we moved into our new home I even based our family room and kitchen decor around them because their importance to us.... Well the other day me and my mom were out doing errands and when we came home my mom walked around the corner and told me I was going to be upset and to take a deep breathe... the first thought that came to mind was oh CRAP the plasma has fallen off the wall.... well no it was only worse the monkeys had falled off their shelf and only one survived the fall..... Hear No made with no damage but the other two were gonners.... one was missing his head and the other was missing well more than half his body.... there was no way we could piece them back together. You will be so very missed Speak No, and See No! We will hopefully get back to Cancun sometime soon to find Hear No his friends but until then he has a new and much safer home in the kitchen on the cabinet!

It seems like all I do is take pictures if Linken but he is doing the cutest faces everyday and is growing so fast.... his cheeks are getting chubbier by the minute. Gurr Life Update.....

Well it has been a while since I have given an update on our blog and quite a bit has changed.... We moved into our new home and have been very busy painting and fixing a few little things. Below you will see the before and after pics of what we have done on the house so far. Also there are some recent pics of Linken.... his first bath was fun and he loves his bath time.... Linken is now 5 weeks old and is over 10 pounds he is getting chubby cheeks and loves to eat! He is a happy baby and loves to be outside. We took him on his first boating adventure this last Saturday and he loved it... the boat ride, the loud music, and the sun.... he was one happy camper. Pictures will come soon of our day boating!

So Linken is one week old.... On Monday we went to his first check up and everything looks great he has gained back the few ounces he lost in the hospital and is gaining every day... He is going to be a chubby baby and sure loves to eat!! Then Yesterday his cercumcision ring fell off now all we are waiting on is the belly button then he can take a real bath.... I can't wait the wash cloth bath just doesn't do justice. I am really amazed at how much love I have for this little guy he is my whole world and I can't image anything with out him. He is beginning to smile and show so much personality in just one week. I can't believe how fast he changes from the looks he gives in his sleep to the sqeeks and sounds that come from the little guy.

I am one proud MOMMY and have the best husband I can ask for. Brady has been amazing the whole way and I have to say I have the two greatest men in the world in my life.

Linken Jackson Gurr Has Arrived....

Well here he is.... Linken decided to join us on his due date April 23, 2009 at 2:23pm.... After waiting patiently and walking a ton everynight for the last week or so to help he decided to come on his own terms. Wednesday at 3:00 am (so really Thursday) I woke up having contractions and as I tried to fall back to sleep they kept getting closer and harder to handle... I waited about an hour and called into the hospital to let them know I was on my way in. Once we arrived at the hospital they told me I was dilated to a 3 and the baby and I were being monitored and they check us in. Within two hours my contractions were getting pretty bad and with some complaining they decided to check me again and said I was dilated between a 5 or 6 and was ready to get my epidural. About 45 minutes later I got my epidural which I must say didn't hurt near as bad as it looked. Once I was numb I was a happy camper and was on my I-Phone answering emails for work. Only a few hours later the pressure was getting pretty bad and the pushing begin. It seemed like I was pushing FOREVER but only ended up pushing for about 3 hours and he was here. Linken was born 7 lbs 9 oz and is 20 and 1/2 inches long. He has his daddies long fingers and toes with my ears and nose. He is a beautiful baby and child birth is truly a miracle.

Baby Shower

Well yesterday my mom, and sister-in-laws threw me a baby shower. I had a great time and the baby got a bunch of cool things here is a few of the items I got.... a cart cover, a swing, a bumble, a hooter hider, cute blakets, and cloths, toys, bath needs ect. Now all I have to do is find a place to put it all. Thanks to everyone who came it was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of the party. Oh and as you can see I am HUGE.... I have exactly 30 days left, from tomorrow March 23rd and I am definetly feeling ready. I think we have also finally are sticking with the name Linken Jackson Gurr. But who knows it still could change....

So yeah..... I know I am really slacking in the blogging area and really hope I get better once the baby gets here. Here are some pictures from our Valentines Day. Haylie and I decided to surprise the boys and decorate the house and our rooms with romantic candle lite dinner and rose petals all over the house. Then we prepared a fondue dinner and desert. It was a lot of fun and the boys weren't expecting anything. We also made the boys there own personal plates.... notice the gurr family stick figures.

Oakland Temple

Well last Saturday we all decided to go to the temple. The closest temples here in California are Oakland, Sacramento, and Fresno. We went to the Oakland temple this time and will be going there until I have this baby since I have grown out of my temple dress and the Sacramento temple doesn't rent clothes. But that is just fine it was nice to finally be able to go in and do a session in that temple that is the temple my parents were married in many many years ago and just like every other temple it is beautiful.... Here is a picture of it we lucked out because they still had the lights up from Christmas.....

The End of 2008....

So I am still in a little shock how fast 2008 went and what major changes happened last year for us.... RECAP of 2008: Our second year wedding anniversarycame and went, we found out we are expecting a little BOY, and FINALLY moved out of NEW JERSEY! Those are the three major highlights of the year!!

We rang in the new year with a bunch of our family friends, we played some pretty fun games like Partini and Bunco and ate a bunch of goodies.... It was a fun night! But we are definatly getting old because by the time the ball dropped I was half asleep....

Well we had a good Christmas at home this year with the Krum family (mom, dad, Jarett, Haylie, and Jalisa). We had quite a relaxing Christmas since we are all older. We woke up about nine and started opening presents. After opening presents we ate my moms home made cinnamon rolls and layed and watched a movie in our pj's on one of Brady's christmas presents... his new surround sound!! Then by the time we were ready for the day it was time for Christmas dinner with Justin, Ivie and the little girls. Christmas is definatly more exciting with little ones. We are excited to have a little one next year to spoil. Here are a couple pics of us opening presents.

Well heres the update... We got to spend Thanksgiving in Utah which was great we had turkey and Grandma and Grandpa Wismer's, my awesome mother in law and sister threw me a baby shower where I got to see good friends and family. Thanks so much everyone who was there it meant a lot and was great to see everyone. After we got home from our Thanksgiving vacation we got to go to the doctor and have the offial ultra sound..... and yes it is still a BOY. The whole untra sound he had the hick-ups and was moving all over the place. By the time Brady came in to look and him we couldn't see his little boy part because the little stinker had his cute little legs crossed the whole time in the picture below you can see his cute little crossed feet. He also kept waving at us. We are getting so excited..... and can't wait to finally meet the little guy.

I had my birthday I turned another year older.... 22 years old. I don't feel much different really probably because of all the other changes going on I am growing, growing, growing. I am now holding my pants up with a rubber band and seem to be getting more and more tired which I think is normal. In the pictures below you can see our cute little boys profile and also a frontal view.... he has a very defined chin and I am pretty positive that comes from his daddy! So I have been really bad at updating this thing. I have been to the doctor twice now since the last few posts and have been growing. Attached are the last few ultrasound pics of the baby the latest is the good news.... IT'S A BOY!! See if you can tell... It is a perfect butt shot of the little BOY! I will be posting more pictures soon.

Gurr Baby Update!

Well this past Monday I went to another doctors appointment and got to hear the baby's heart beat and see the little thing again... it was awesome the baby actually had the hicups when they were doing the ultrasound and I couldn't help but laugh everytime. It was exciting! So the next appointment we go to is NOVEMBER 17th and that is when we find out what it is.... I can't wait I am already going crazy not knowing what it is.... Here is a picture of me at 12 weeks and 2 days! I will try being better at posting more often as I grow!

Sorry to all... I am really sucking at this whole blog updating thing. Since I got pregnant all I do is sleep, eat, work, and sleep some more.... I know pretty lame but that is my life right now. We are still managing to have some fun though between my lazyness.

Well yesterday I went in and the baby got it's first picture.

The doctors said everything looks great and I have a nice "Sack" (baby Sack that is) :)

It was very exciting I got to see the little heart beat and it's eye sockets.

Well I haven't been able to post in a while but when I put my pictures on my computer today I noticed I forgot about the NY Jets game we went to right before we moved to California! It was actually pretty fun. It was the first game Farve played and from the nose bleed section he looked like the size of an ant! But at least we got to be there! We still had a ton of fun. It was the first professional football Brady and I have ever been too. Enjoy the pics. Oh and the guy with Nick in some pics is Mike Allen he now runs the East Coast 1st Light Office!

Well I know it has been forever since I have updated this thing and man there is many changes going on in our life.....

We finally moved out of New Jersey on August 19th to California. On our way we got to stop in Utah for a couple days and see some friends and family which was great! The drive took us

way to long and hopefully we will never have to do it again! I will be posting some pictures soon. Also THREE days before we left to drive out to California I found out we are

PREGNANT!!!!

YEAH! We have been somewhat trying and of course the timing is a little crazy!
So on top of the 48 hour drive we are going to be parents! We are both very excited and I really don't think it has hit Brady yet. It hit me yesterday as I was sitting in my first doctors appointment and had to get all kinds of blood drawn for testing! YUCK!

I haven't been feeling sick until this week.... yesterday was bad but I think it was from all the blood they took! (or at least that is what I am hoping) Anyways, I go in again next week for an ultra sound and will be sure to post the pic of the little thing!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary!!

Well today was the day two years ago that we were married in the Bountiful Temple, the day we were sealed together FOREVER! Through the sickness and health we have endured and overcome together. We have had quite an eventful two years and have loved every minute of it. I am so grateful to be married to my best friend. He has been nothing be kind, loving, and understanding. He is who holds us together, and is always positive no matter what life throws at us. These last two years our love has grown and will continue to grow forever! I love you Brady! Well over the last few weekends we have been all over the place and Zoey has got to go everywhere with us and she has loved every minute of it. She has been from the White House, to the Lincoln Monument, to walk to streets in Boston and a boat ride to the USS Constitution, to our latest stop in Canada to see the falls. Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, NY

Well on our way home from Niagra Falls we stopped in Buffalo NY to eat at the first place the buffalo wing was made and it was a lot of fun. I am not a fan of buffalo wings or anything spicy and I actually loved the spicy buffalo wings that were served here is the picture of the place and I will be posting so other pics of us enjoying our wings later once I get them off of the other camera. 4th Of July in Niagra Falls

Well we had a great 4th of July.... we love America but spent our fourth of July in Canada as un-american it seems we had a blast. We got to stay at a hip, retro hotel. While we were at the falls we went on the Maid of the Mist boat tour and also got to walk behind the falls. The falls were amazing and the firework show fun.

Washington DC & Baltimore Maryland

Well this weekend we went on another weekend trip and this was by far one of my favorite. We went to Washington DC first and then Baltimore Maryland we had a blast. In DC we started with the Washington Monument, the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, the White House and a few museums. To top it all off we stopped at the Washington DC Temple which was amazing. That is a beautiful temple! Here are some pics of the fun we had.

Boston

Well the last little road trip we went on was to Boston. We actually went through three states along the way but never got out to take pictures with new state signs. We went from New Jersey, to New York, through Connecticut to Massachusets.... we are all over the place. Anyways Boston was great it is like a clean New York. It was just like New York but with out the creepy people and skinky smelling garbage streets. It was a fun trip we got to walk the Freedom Trail and took a boat tour of Boston to the USS Constitution. Here are a few pictures....

Well Coney Island was crazy... It was the scariest place I have ever been and I will never need to go back again. There was a bunch of crazy people there and it was a million and one degrees and very humid. Enjoy the pics......

Well Brady's cousin Nick is out here for a few weeks working with Brady and we are having a blase. We went into NYC and walked around there last weekend and this weekend we went down to Atlantic City. We have been having a ton of fun. Next stops are Washington DC, Coney Island to see some freak shows, Six Flags to ride the worlds tallest and fastest roller coaster KingdaKa and so much more....... Enjoy the pictures......

Well it has been a while since I have updated this thing so heres what's new. We are moving to California.... Yeah!!! We are so excited and can't wait to get out of New Jersey. We are hoping to be out of here by the end of June. I will be adding some new pictures soon.....

Jarett & Haylie's Wedding

Well we just returned for Utah. It was nice to get a vacation from work and to be able to be all together as a family. We got to see a lot of family and friends and got to celebrate a very special day. On March 29th, 2008 Jarett and Haylie were married in the Bountiful Temple. The wedding was a blast. Congrats Jarett & Haylie!!

Also while we were in Utah we took some new Krum family pictures since we are growing so fast and there are little ones missing in the last one. I love my family and all my neices and nephew!! As you can see the Gurr Family is not that big YET! Just Brady, Me, and Zoey!

The Krum Family: Brady, Me, Jeff, Juline, Kohen, Adilyn, Dad, Mom, Haidyn, Caroline,Taylor, Ivie, Justin, Jalisa, Haylie and Jarett.

Now whats next.... I don't know for sure as of this summer we will be out of New Jersey though. Are options right now are both good but that is whats making the decision very difficult. We could end up back home which is Utah of course or California where is also home for me since that is where I grew up the first twelve years of my life. All I know is either way we just want to be happy and be able to move to the next chapter in our life which is starting our own family. I really have loved being so close to my family and I hope they all know how much we love and appreciate all they have done for us! I will keep you posted on our upcoming move.....

My Blog

Hello everyone this is my first post on my blog and let me tell ya' I am not the greatest at this kind of thing but am looking forward to learning. Brady and I got married on August 4th, 2006 and got to enjoy our honeymoon in Cancun for a week before we had to fly right back to New Jersey to get back into the normal world and start working again.

As for now the Gurr family is living in New Jersey. We have been on the east coast for over three years now working in the Solar Industry. GO GREEN! On July 17, 2007 our life kind of took a hault when I got a call that Brady was in a pretty bad accident at work and while installing solar panels. All I remember hearing was the sirens in the background and my heart wanting to beat out of my chest. He was electricuted on a roof in Jersey City and was sadly enough awake through the whole thing. He suffered some pretty bad burns on his hands and was very lucky to even be alive. He was in the Burn Intensive Care Unit for about four days being monitored and looked at by many doctors. His accident shook us up a bit but really made us look at what we have and made us appreciate it a lot more. Since his accident he has had two skin graph surgeries and his hand is healing back to normal. He definatly has some sweet scars to show and a great storey to tell the little Gurr babies when they get here. The one thing his accident made me realize is that life can truly change that fast so not to take it for granted for a second. I couldn't even imagine my life with out my best friend. But yeah life is still great and we are still in love and loving married life.

While being on the east coast we have been fortunate to see some pretty cool stuff we are about 25 minutes from New York City and have been from the Statue of Liberty, to the Musem of Natural History, to broadway shows such as Les Miserables and Spamolot. We have walked the scary streets of the city and enjoyed the many colorful people out there. The Gurr family includes Brady, myself, our Yorkie-Poo Zoey and our two turtles Biggy and Biggy Smallz. We are hoping to start trying for a little one this summer and get this Gurr family growing. That is our Gurr-ate life in a nut shell! We are heading back to Utah a week from today for Jarett and Haylie's wedding and are getting so excited to see them, family and friends! It's going to be a party and once we return I will be sure to post some pictures of our trip.
