Big Trees & Cavern Adventures...

So Thanksgiving weekend we decide to load up and venture to Calaveras Big Trees. We have been talking about doing this for a long time and finally did.... After a 1 hour and 45 minute drive we arrived at the park to find out the winds were to bad and we couldn't go into the park. We were all so bummed so decided to at least get out a take a picture. We loaded back up and ventured onto the cavern's that weren't to far away. It was a fun weekend. We brought Justin and Ivie's three little ones and it was fun seeing them on our adventure. I can't wait until Linken is old enough to really enjoy it. Here are some pictures of the BIG TREES... cavern pics to come!

He started STANDING UP: on everything!! We came home from church and set him down to play and look over to see him doing this... He is to BRAVE and is not scared of anything. If you notice in the first picture he is doing it with one hand... what a show off!!

He started PULLING himself UP onto his KNEES: on chairs, tables, toys, etc.

He started EATING: whatever you are eating... not a fan of baby food!

Backyard Bonfire...

A few weeks ago we decided to have a backyard bonfire. We roasted marshmellows with the three little girls, Caroline, Haidyn, and Taylor. Linken enjoyed it until the smoke started getting in his little eyes. Here's our little family enjoying the backyard.

Oops! Halloween in December...

Well here is Linken my little "Pirate" playing in the candy we actually were handing out to tricker treaters. We didn't take him out he just helped give out the candy.

So these pictures are pretty hilarious... Here is Linken just 3 days shy of 6 months old and he has officially out grown his bouncer... He grabs onto the toys and pulls himself up to his feet until he is standing up.... He is growing up way to fast.

Here's Linken in his little camo out fit including shoes which don't stay on very long. I love that smile... and those chubby cheeks!! I love him to death and cannot even think of life without him!

Linken's New Ride...

Alright so here is Linken in his new ride... He has moved up from his jumper to this sweet red ride. He still loves his jumper but would get a little to excited when hanging on the closet doorways and would hit his head until he cried not knowing what was happening. After him getting a good bruise on his little forehead I decided we needing to get him something else so I went looking..... And this is what I found by the looks of it I knew he must have it and really got it for my dad in which he was so impressed. At first he only knew how to go backwards but now he can walk all over forwards and backwards... its steering wheel lights up and plays really cute music, along with a horn that actually honks, and the hood also pops off and can be used as a tray... I'm so impressed with the toys and gagets that have for little ones.

October Update....

Well it seems every post lately is a big update on whats going on in our life.... I really hope to get posting more when stuff actually happens instead if a big update but until then here a long mix of what we have been busy doing.

We finally finished our patio cover.... Brady built this all himself with help from my dad and Jose. With Linkwn loving the outdoors we are really glad we did it. We are still working on the rest of the yard though, Brady and my dad put in all the spinklers last weekend so now all we need is grass. So close!!! I can't wait for the mess to be over with. Here's my dad on the trencher in which terrified our little dog Zoey for days.... Also Linken enjoying the patio furniture.

Summers Over...

Linken is officially crawling for anything you put in front of him....

arms and pushes off with his feet which is hilarious....

Sundays are one of my favorite days.... One because my hubby is

always home and Two, because Linken gets to look so cute.

UPDATE:

Well the summer is offically over and I am ready for Fall and the holidays... this is one of my favorite time of year. Just a little update on our life. Linken is now five months old and is growing so fast he is now trying to crawl and has almost got it figured out besides the fact he doesn't move his arms so they get trapped under his little body. At his 4 month check up he weighed in at 15.8 lbs and 27 inches long. His new thing this week is screaming and sqealing at the top of his lungs, its his way of talking. He is laughing like crazy and loves playing peek-a-boo. He really is the happiest baby and I love him to death.

On September 5th Jalisa and Andrew got married and the family was all together again. Jalisa looked amazing and the wedding was beautiful. All the Krum kids are married now so here come the grand babies.... With the new home Brady has been working on projects non-stop from wiring his surround sound speakers, to working in the yard and has also been busy the last month building our back covered patio which is now complete. Pictures will be coming soon. I just wanted to give an update on our life.

New Family Pictures

So all I can say is thank you so much Tessa.... On Saturday August 1st we went and got some new family pictures along with some of just me and Brady since our 3rd year anniversary was coming up three days later. We had a ton of fun doing these well I should say I Brady hates pictures and Linken was not the easiest to get looking at the camera. But here are a few to enjoy... I love my little family and can't believe we have been married already for 3 YEARS! Okay not a few a ton....

4th Of July

Well for the 4th of July we got to spend the weekend on the house boat with my whole family. Linken enjoyed the boat and being outside. Sadly enough we forgot until late Saturday night that we didn't see fireworks.... It was Linken's first 4th of July and he didn't even get to see fireworks. We are kind of lame parents.... oops! We will be better with with the other hoidays hopefully.
